A great blog with great tips and tutorials to help you get started. It also has great blog posts ways to optimize your games and get a better outcome.

MJW: Avoider Game Tutorial

New to Game Development? Or new to AS3? Micheal James Williams has a great tutorial on how to build a Avoider game from scratch. Sounds lame? Trust me this game covers alot of as3 and will surely help you.

FlashKit: Games Tutorials

Huge collection of flash game Tutorials. Probably got around 200 Tutorials. These tutorials cover many different methods used in flash programming.

Flash-Game-Design

Covers many different aspects of flash games. Also has alot of quality flash game tutorials and tips.

Box2D : Flash

Box2D is a great physics engine for flash. Its widely used and there are alot of tutorials out there on how to use it and how to build games with it…

GoToAndPlay

Gotoandplay provides tutorials and game development tips. It also features some flash games. They also have tutorials for multiplayer flash games

MochiAds

Make money off your games. A great ad network for flash games. It lets developers make money by showing ads on their game. Currently it is one of the most used in-game ad network and there are also other benefits of using MochiAds including Leaderboards & Version Control

CpmStar

Another way for developers to monetize their game! Although the developer need to share revenue with the sponsor of the game. (10% Will do). But the eCPM is normally high and the ads are very related!

Mr. Sun Studios

Just another Flash Game tutorial site but provides very valuable information on games. And provide sample FLA files along with the tutorials but it is highly suggested you dont just download the FLA and claim it as your game.

Aye! its almost the end of 2009! Ahh what a great year. Alot of new stuff, FlashJolt.com Was released. Twitter (one of the biggest buzz this year) became a huge hit! Even Greater flash games were made by great developers! O ye! Call of duty 6: Mordern Warefare 2 was also released. And so much more. This year has been way better than the past years but what fun is it to end the year without playing some flash games Hey?!

So i picked some of the top games here to end the year with and hopefully we can see even better games submited for 2010 (twenty-ten is coming ).

These are the best games picked by us! Starting from the Best Games #1 to the #5th game!

Iron Turtle!
I am sure alot of you support me on this and i personally recieved a few good reviews on this game! Its another platformer but this game is just different to the rest that it will get you addicted in seconds. Even the Main Menu of this game is full of fun!

Hungry Shapes

This was the first game submitted to flashjolt but not only that it is a great game. Trust me it will keep you involved if you like strategy or puzzle games! A game with some cute graphics and some HUNGRY shapes! How Hungry is your shape?

Kill H1N1
What more fun action packed thriller game can you find? SiftHeads guys have done it again with their thrilling game!

And the runners up games!
4th – Rave Rider!
A great racing/driving game! with challenging level and thrilling maps!

And for the final game: LaserJolt: Sudden Attack!
This game has performed quite well on flashjolt and also has had some good reviews elsewhere!
